Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, positive, and dependable Senior Project Manager, Engineering to join our team of Resource Professionals. Our mission is to provide the highest calibre of service to meet the needs of our clients, and we are only as good as the people on our team.

The Senior Project Manager, Engineering, will lead complex engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and technical requirements. This role demands a comprehensive oversight of project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder communications effectively.

The successful candidate will drive project execution by coordinating resources, mitigating risks, and resolving issues to deliver engineering solutions that meet or exceed expectations. They will also play a critical role in fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance. Ultimately, this position is pivotal in delivering high-impact engineering projects that contribute to the organization's growth and operational excellence across British Columbia. This position is based out of our Prince George office and is open to remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Job Responsibilities:

The immediate responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager, Engineeringwill include, but are not limited to:
  • Planning, designing, and delivery of civil/structural engineering projects including calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for roadways, bridges, and other Civil infrastructure projects.
  • Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management for engineering projects.
  • Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks or issues, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, provide regular status updates, and facilitating decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and incorporating lessons learned into future projects.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to gather information, providing project updates, and addressing technical inquiries.
  • Preparing comprehensive project documentation, including reports, presentations, and technical specifications.

Compensation:
  • The hourly range is between $52 - $74 and will be commensurate with experience.
