We are hiring a technical Senior Project Manager to join our Oakland/San Francisco office. This candidate will:
  • Provide oversight and management of day-to-day project activities
  • Direct the project team through all phases and the delivery of projects
  • Manage project budgets and schedules
  • Oversee planning and design of projects
  • Work with project managers, public officials, and committees at public and transportation agencies with an ability to guide decision-making for complex and sensitive planning issues and projects
  • Provide high-quality research and analysis, interpret data, synthesize conclusions into recommendations using concise verbal and written presentations and reports
  • Lead clients through project goal and objective development, programming, data gathering, and design development
  • Participate in business development, proposal writing, and project interviews
  • Mentor and guide staff members at the junior and intermediate levels
  • Be flexible and able to work in a collaborative team environment

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional working experience in an architectural firm
  • Project management experience successfully delivering public sector and transportation projects
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture Degree
  • Licensed Architect in California or the ability to obtain registration within one year
  • Exceptional management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines
  • Good graphic and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Expertise in leading construction document preparation and delivery
  • Experience in developing work scope and related fee
