About This RoleCrusoe's Spark Business Unit is scaling deployment of the company's modular power and compute infrastructure across multiple sites. This role sits within the Digital Infrastructure Group's Engineering team, dedicated full-time to Spark deployment execution. You'll support project and site-level engineering across active deployments, coordinating with the design engineering function on mechanical, thermal, and controls scope while owning execution, site planning, and vendor coordination at the project level. This role augments the team's general engineering capacity. This is an in-office role, five days a week, based out of one of Crusoe's office locations.
What You'll Be Working On- Support site layout, planning, design, and execution for small- to medium-scale data
- center deployment projects
- Support the mechanical and controls design, specification, and equipment selection
- Coordinate site-level infrastructure deployment methodologies, including chillers,
- transformers, UPS solutions etc...
- Work with internal & external design and construction partners to execute projects, and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Support the mechanical and thermal rollout as Spark evolves from air-cooled baselines
- to next-generation high-density liquid-cooled architectures, executing against designs
- rather than authoring them Serve as a dedicated Spark deployment resource, for project-level engineering work.
What You'll Bring to the Team- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with exposure to chilled water systems
- and equipment, air cooling, and HVAC
- Experience with control strategies and sequence of operations for mechanical systems
- Industrial or mission critical experience is required
- Data Center experience is preferred, but not required
- Experience executing or managing chilled water system installations and central
- equipment (chillers, pumps, etc) at the project or site level
- Working proficiency with CAD tools (Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam) for reviewing and
- coordinating design documents
- Working knowledge of relevant mechanical codes and standards (ICC, ASME B31.x,
- ASHRAE guidelines, NFPA standards)
- Comfortable partnering across hardware, software, design engineering, and construction
- teams to execute deployment projects on schedule
Bonus Points Experience with modular building deployment or construction
Familiarity with BIM workflows and full-lifecycle drawing packages (30/60/90/100%)
Professional Engineer (PE) license

Compensation RangeCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $145,000 -$200,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
