The Senior Project Analyst will support the Project Management Office (PMO) by driving project governance, business analysis activities, process improvement initiatives, and project execution standards across multiple technology-focused initiatives. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to ensure projects follow established methodologies and governance frameworks. 3 days per week in Salisbury, NC.Responsibilities for the Senior PM ( PMO Governance) :- Support PMO governance processes , standards, and best practices across technology and business initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, status reports, RAID logs, requirements documentation, and process workflows.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate project intake, governance reviews, and project lifecycle activities.
- Perform process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and key performance indicators.
- Support executive and leadership reporting through dashboards, presentations, and project status updates.
- Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Assist with testing coordination, requirements validation, and solution reviews.
- Advocate for established project management methodologies, governance standards, and organizational ways of working.
- Support initiatives utilizing Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban delivery frameworks.
Qualifications for the Senior PM ( PMO Governance):- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, business analysis, or related roles.
- Experience supporting project governance, PMO operations, or portfolio management functions.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and SDLC principles.
- Experience creating project charters, requirements documentation, process maps, and status reporting artifacts.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, Clarity, or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
