Job DescriptionAshley Furniture Industries, LLC has multiple openings for Sr. Programmer Analysts (formerly Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst) in Advance, NC.
Collaborate with business units to plan and scope initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Conduct thorough requirements elicitation using interviews, document analysis, use cases, and workflow analysis to capture business needs. Analyze data from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and extract meaningful insights to guide business decisions. Engage with internal and external customers to clarify functional requirements, delivering precise documentation such as BRDs, use cases, and interface designs. Work with developers and subject matter experts to define technical solutions, balancing usability and performance needs. Perform system setup, configuration, and testing to ensure successful implementation. Recommend best practices and automation opportunities to optimize business processes. Act as the key link between business units, technology teams, and support teams, ensuring smooth project delivery. Develop comprehensive user manuals and conduct training sessions to support application adoption. Guide junior and mid-level analysts, contributing to their professional growth. Uphold the company's core values in all professional functions. 5% Domestic travel is required.
Job Requirements Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related and 3 years of experience in Manufacturing and ERP System.
Also, must have experience in:
- Manufacturing ERP systems - Infor XA/Mapics on IBM i (AS/400) environments.
- Programming languages: RPG IV and ILE RPG, Control Langiage (CL), JavaScript, and Python.
- System Analysis: Performing root cause analysis using structured methodologies, writing SQL queries for data analysis and reporting and working with system logs, debugging tools, and performance monitoring.
- Creating Business Process Model and Notation diagrams using at least one of the following process mapping tools: Visio, Miro, or Lucidchart.
- Working in hybrid onPrem and Cloud environments.
- Working in Agile methodologies of project exection: participating in Scrum or Kanban frameworks, sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development cycles.
