Job Description:This position is eligible for up to two days remote work per week.
BASIC FUNCTION: The Sr. Programmer Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of data driven applications, processes integrations, and ETL/ELT processes specifically in support of the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop custom Envision UI forms, batch processes, reports, triggers and stored procedures within the Colleague Studio framework for extending the capabilities of the ERP to meet business needs.
- Develop programming to extend the capabilities of the Ellucian Colleague ERP system though custom Web APIs using .Net, Visual Studio and GitHub
- Must possess a thorough understanding of Colleague across CA, CORE, CF, HR and ST modules.
- Provide ongoing support of existing colleague processes and collaborate across departments in creating new business processes or applications when necessary.
- Provide direct support to HR, Finance, Business Office and the Registrar's Office.
- Evaluate project requests to design and develop software solutions that satisfy the business requirements using current technologies and adhering to IT best practices
- Works with other IT team members in the definition of system scope, requirements, design elements, testing and implementation of enhancements to enterprise applications, particularly Ellucian Colleague
- Develop/maintain or assist in the integration of associated system solutions within the university internal and external networks using Ellucian's ELF programming, Studio programming, API's or Ethos endpoints based on best practices.
- Develop and maintain complete and accurate documentation, as appropriate, to reflect all levels of analysis and design related to enterprise applications, particularly Ellucian Colleague
- Consult with contracted personnel and external vendors to serve as a key university liaison
- Troubleshoot reported issues within custom software, analyze, and make corrections ensuring changes are tested, documented and communicated prior to deployment into a production environment
- Develop ETL/ELT processes in support of business intelligence reporting
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Collaborates within IT to analyze and recommend improvements to data driven processes
- Documents system procedures, programming guidelines and system modifications
- Participates in all efforts of the Office of Information Technologies to deliver effective technology solutions to the University community

Requirements:Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field with a minimum of five years' programming experience
- Demonstrated expertise with Ellucian Colleague (Envision, ELF, Ethos, Workflows)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML or other programming languages
- Experience using .Net programming framework
- Expertise in SQL query, data manipulation and relational database systems
- Ellucian Ethos Integration configuration and administration
- Strong ability to translate non-technical business needs and requests into clear technical requirements and solutions.

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
- More-than five years' programming experience
- Advanced proficiency with Ellucian Colleague, including Envision, ELF, Ethos, and workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML or other programming languages
