Responsibilities

PeopleTec is seeking a SeniorProgram Security Analyst for an opportunty to support our Colorado Springs, CO and Los Angeles, CA locations.

The Senior Program Security Analyst assists the United States Space Force Government Program Manager with the research, development and implementation of comprehensive program protection methodologies to protect advanced RDT&E programs throughout the system's life cycle. The Senior Program Security Analyst serves as a senior security professional responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security and program protection activities supporting complex Space Force acquisition and mission programs. This position works with government Program Managers, security professionals, contracting personnel, system engineers, and industry partners to protect critical technologies, information, capabilities, and program resources throughout the system lifecycle.

The successful candidate will provide expertise across program protection, acquisition security, classification management, operations security (OPSEC), threat and risk assessment, Special Access Program (SAP) security, and related disciplines. The position serves as a trusted security advisor to program leadership and helps ensure security requirements are incorporated into acquisition, development, testing, sustainment, and other program activities.

Duties:
  • Provide senior-level security and program protection support throughout the DoD system lifecycle.
  • Identify and assess Critical Program Information (CPI), Critical System Resources (CSR), vulnerabilities, threats, and security risks.
  • Develop program protection strategies, security countermeasures, and risk-mitigation approaches.
  • Develop and maintain Program Protection Plans and associated security strategies.
  • Advise Program Managers, security officials, contracting personnel, and engineering teams on security requirements and risk.
  • Support collateral, SCI, and SAP security activities.
  • Evaluate security requirements associated with acquisition, contracts, system development, testing, fielding, and sustainment.
  • Support development and review of DD Form 254 requirements.
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments involving sensitive technologies and critical information.
  • Research counterintelligence and threat information for potential program impacts.
  • Develop security plans, OPSEC plans, Security Classification Guides, security CONOPS, operating procedures, and contingency plans.
  • Provide classification guidance and review documentation for classification, CUI markings, distribution restrictions, and release considerations.
  • Coordinate security requirements across government organizations, mission partners, contractors, and program stakeholders.
  • Support security education, program reviews, technical meetings, and working groups.
  • Mentor security personnel and provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary security activities.


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in program security, acquisition security, program protection, SAP, intelligence security, or related DoD security disciplines.
  • Significant experience supporting classified DoD acquisition, development, or mission programs.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting SCI and/or SAP environments.
  • Experience developing and implementing program protection or security strategies.
  • Experience identifying and protecting CPI, critical technologies, or other mission-critical resources.
  • Experience conducting security threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments.
  • Experience with classification management, security documentation, OPSEC, and DD Form 254 activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of DoD security policies applicable to classified and special-access environments.
  • Ability to advise senior government and program leadership and coordinate across multidisciplinary organizations.
  • Travel: Up to 35%; Willingness to extensively travel within the Program's Area of Responsibility (AOR) including OCONUS.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills:
  • Master's degree in a relevant security, intelligence, engineering, management, or technical discipline.
  • DoD or government training/certifications in program protection, acquisition security, SAP security, OPSEC, or classification management.
