Direct involvement in AI and data governance operational workflows ensures that company policies, standard operating procedures, and standards are actionable and practical across business units. The position addresses the challenge of converting complex emerging frameworks into clear execution standards while preventing policy bloat through continuous cross-functional feasibility testing.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):- Draft, review, and update actionable governance policies, standards, and procedures to align operations with organizational objectives
- Maintain the Dictionary of Policies, Classifications, and Standards with strict version control and seamless access
- Translate emerging frameworks like NIST AI RMF, Colorado Automated Decision-Making Technology Act (ADMTA), and EU AI Act into practical operational checklists
- Road-test new standards alongside engineering, data science, and product teams to eliminate friction
- Create decision trees, templates, and guides that enable measurable governance reporting
- Connect Governance Leadership with Forward Deployed Expertise teams to drive cross-departmental execution
Skills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):- AI application expertise using modern AI tools to streamline automation and boost governance workflow productivity
- Ability to design logical, version-controlled policy frameworks accessible to non-legal business units
- Ability to identify specific metadata, logging requirements, and testing protocols for regulatory alignment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills to bridge business, risk, and technical execution teams
- Critical experience with standardized frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Advanced process engineering expertise to convert complex requirements into frictionless workflows
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Policy, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 5 years of experience in AI/Data Governance, Technical Policy, Process Engineering, or Compliance
- NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Decision-to-data mapping and policy drafting

Salary RangesCompensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
