Full Job Description
Our employee-owned, integrated team of engineering and design professionals is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design for heavy industrial projects, including mining and production facilities.

This role is focused on technical leadership - guiding complex mechanical design efforts, collaborating across disciplines, and mentoring developing engineers. Project management experience is valued but not required.

What You'll Do

  • Lead mechanical design for industrial facilities, including mining and production operations
  • Serve as atechnical leader and client partner, building strong relationships and supporting project success from concept through construction
  • Design and oversee systems including:
    • Industrial ventilation and dust collection
    • Process piping, pumping, and plumbing
    • Balance-of-plant and material handling support systems
  • Scope project requirements, verify calculations, and validate equipment selection
  • Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and architectural teams
  • Mentor and support early-career engineers
  • Support construction administration and site visits as needed
  • Contribute to project coordination, client interactions, or proposals

$97,000 - $153,500 a year

The listed salary range reflects base pay for candidates with 8-20 years of related experience. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities. Individuals who may have more years of experience are encourage to apply.
