Full Job Description
Who we're looking for:

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who will own the market strategy for Attendance Plus. You'll go deep on the chronic absenteeism problem itself-the research, the district budget cycles, the competitive landscape-and use that expertise to shape where Attendance Plus goes next.

You'll own positioning and messaging for the entire attendance line, translate the needs of attendance clerks, counselors, and district administrators into a narrative that resonates through the whole buying committee, and make the call on which capabilities deserve a full go-to-market push versus a quiet rollout. You'll partner directly with the Attendance product and leadership team on packaging, pricing, and competitive strategy for the line.

Success in this role means the market understands why Attendance Plus is different, our go-to-market teams know how to win attendance conversations, and customer and competitive insights consistently shape what we build and how we take it to market. You'll be accountable not just for launches but also for helping to grow Attendance Plus as a business.

In This Role You'll:
  • Own the market strategy for Attendance Plus
    • Own positioning and messaging for Attendance Plus, translating chronic absenteeism research and district pain points into a value proposition that's aligned internally and resonates with superintendents, student services, attendance clerks, and school boards alike.
    • Become an internal expert on the attendance and chronic absenteeism market, including state-level attendance-based funding formulas, district budget cycles, buying dynamics, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape.
    • Partner directly with the Attendance product and leadership team on pricing, packaging, and segmentation for the line, bringing the voice of the market into build and prioritization conversations.
    • Identify the highest-potential segments, use cases, and growth opportunities for Attendance Plus and develop strategies to reach them.
  • Drive go-to-market for roadmap
    • Work with GTM teams to execute plans for new Attendance Plus capabilities, determining the level of investment a release earns based on its strategic weight to the line.
    • Define launch goals and success metrics, then use adoption, customer feedback, field insights, and market response to evaluate performance and inform what comes next.
    • Turn win/loss analysis and customer research into clear insights on why we win, where we lose, and what those insights mean for our product, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Enable the field on attendance
    • Partner with Sales Enablement to help the Sales and Customer Success teams win attendance opportunities, including competitive battlecards, buyer-specific messaging, ROI and outcomes framing, and objection handling.
    • Equip Sales and Customer Success teams to confidently communicate new capabilities, positioning shifts, competitive differentiation, and responses to objections.
  • Lead proactively and drive alignment
    • Drive alignment across the Attendance product team, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and leadership, bringing stakeholders together around a shared understanding of the market and a clear narrative for how we win.
    • Surface strategic risks and opportunities early and turn those insights into clear recommendations.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Has at least 8 years of product marketing experience, with meaningful ownership of strategy, positioning, and go-to-market for a specific product or line of business.
  • A proven track record of rapidly scaling a new product line through a complex expansion motion that reaches new buyers within existing customer accounts.
  • Brings exceptional drive, high standards, and a winning mindset, with the ability to earn executive sponsorship while building adoption among frontline stakeholders.
  • Has a track record of using customer, market, and competitive insight to influence product or business decisions.
  • Has strong storytelling and written communication skills and can turn complex customer problems and product capabilities into simple, differentiated narratives.
  • Experience with win/loss analysis, customer research, and translating qualitative insight into clear recommendations.
  • Has genuine interest in the chronic absenteeism problem space and willingness to become the internal expert on it.
  • Is willing to travel to industry events and conferences to spend time with customers, prospects, and the broader education community (approximately 20% travel)

The perks of working for us are great!

You'll get your foot in the door as our company continues to grow. We're big believers in work-life balance and provide:

  • Employer-paid health insurance (including dependent coverage)
  • An employer-matched 401K retirement savings program from day 1
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Stock options
  • Health + wellness reimbursements
  • PTO that increases each year
  • 15 paid holidays, including your birthday!

As a fully remote team, we'll make sure you have all the tools and equipment you need to make your home office a place where you can thrive.

The salary range for this role will be $120,000-$165,000 DOE.
