Full Job Description
What You'll Be Doing:
As a senior product marketing manager at Invicti Security, you will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing. You describe yourself as being curious, and regularly dig into documentation and market trends. In this role, you will be responsible for platform and product feature Go-To-Market strategy and execution. You will be jointly responsible for working with cross-functional teams to make Invicti's products stand out from the competition in the web application security industry. You will be a product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches.

You know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. This isn't guesswork. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.

You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our products' value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers' problems. You are obsessed with tracking performance, and have the data to prove what's working and what isn't.

In addition to the marketing team, you will regularly collaborate with product managers and sales channels; it's a balancing act that requires strong diplomatic skills, including knowing when to push back and when to dive in.

Requirements

What You'll Need:
  • 7+ years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally within cybersecurity, application security, cloud security, network security, or another highly technical software category.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex product and feature launches from end to end, including positioning, messaging, launch planning, enablement, campaign coordination, execution, and measurement.
  • A strong portfolio of product marketing work demonstrating experience with positioning and messaging frameworks, competitive intelligence, market narratives, thought leadership, videos, presentations, and pitch decks.
  • Proven ability to translate highly technical products and concepts into compelling, differentiated stories for audiences ranging from C-level executives to security, DevOps, engineering, and development teams.
  • Experience presenting confidently in webinars, trainings, conferences, customer meetings, sales enablement sessions, and internal executive or company-wide forums.
  • Strong experience in analyst relations, including briefing and building relationships with industry analysts and supporting major market reports and evaluations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Demand Generation, Web, Brand Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and other teams, particularly around product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of market research, segmentation, competitive analysis, and market sizing, including experience developing or contributing to TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses.
  • Experience developing sales enablement strategies and materials that improve seller confidence, competitive readiness, and conversion.
  • Experience with pricing and packaging strategy, particularly within application security, network security, or enterprise software, is strongly preferred.
  • An analytical mindset and demonstrated ability to use market evidence, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data to inform strategy and decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity without losing technical credibility.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Highly collaborative, intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, IT or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Nice to Have:
  • Direct experience in Application Security Testing, including DAST, API security, AppSec, or adjacent cybersecurity categories.
  • Experience marketing to security leaders, AppSec professionals, developers, DevOps, or engineering audiences.
  • Familiarity with how cloud adoption, AI-assisted development, modern software development practices, and evolving security requirements are changing application security buyer needs.
