About the RoleWe're looking for our first Product Manager at Bikky. Reporting to our co-founder and CTO, your job will be to help us build exceptional products.
For five years, we've built our data products without a dedicated product manager. Our engineers and designers have played a big role in shaping what we build, and our data analysts have often owned decisions within their areas. It's worked well for us, but as the company and our platform have grown, we need someone whose full-time focus is bringing those pieces together and driving things forward.
As our first PM, you'll take on a meaningful portion of the product work our co-founder owns today and work directly with him to set priorities and make decisions. You'll identify the highest-leverage opportunities, develop the strategy around them, and work closely with customers, engineers, and designers to build them out.
You'll have a high degree of autonomy, with the support of a team that is already deeply involved in building the product. You'll also have the opportunity to help establish how product is done at Bikky as we continue to grow.
This is a role for someone who wants to have a meaningful say in what we build and why.
What You'll Do- Drive decisions on products currently being built. Research questions, come forth with data-backed recommendations, and ensure decisions get followed through and shipped. You'll bring clarity and conviction where teams currently spin their wheels.
- Lead net-new product development. We have broad new domains we want to pursue that need dedicated research, care, and thought - customer conversations, stakeholder management, and eventual development. You'll run the full process on these new domains; from research to build completion.
- Refine current products based on customer needs. Synthesize customer feedback and needs, including in areas outside our current focus, and scale that process across unstaffed domains within the product.
- Own product operations. We ship constantly, and people need to be trained and informed. You'll be the communication vehicle that makes sure the right people know what's changing.
- Support go-to-market. Help drive adoption of new and existing products, working closely with our commercial teams.
The scope will evolve. At its core, this is about being deeply aware of what customers care about and making sure we're delivering the most possible value - from expanding into new products, to maximizing the value of existing ones, to running exceptionally in new markets.
What We're Looking For- Experience with data products - much of our product work is fundamentally data work, and our products are data products
- A proven track record of having built and shipped something real that people actually use
- Strong taste, judgment, and intelligence - the kind of person who can be trusted to make high-leverage decisions with limited hand-holding
- B2B product experience, ideally at a company that scaled from Series A through Series C
- A trusted, respected operator who can build high trust quickly and pave the path toward owning meaningful domains
