About The Position |Major goals and objectives and location requirements

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to take charge of our data privacy and platform strategy. You will be the point person for balancing our business needs, like audience growth and personalization, with the reality of global privacy regulations. This role is a mix of high-level roadmap planning and deep-in-the-weeds technical problem solving, specifically regarding our Data Subject Request (DSR) platform.

20% | Balance Privacy & Product
  • You'll define how we manage data and identity. The goal is to stay fully compliant (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) without sacrificing the user experience or our ability to deliver relevant content.

20% | Build the Foundation
  • Partner with engineering to modernize our data architecture. You need to understand our data lineage, governance, and security well enough to guide architectural decisions across different business units.

20% | Make Privacy User-Friendly
  • Stop treating privacy as a legal chore. You will design transparent, user-centric flows that actually help our readers understand their data, which in turn builds long-term brand trust.

20% | Cross-Functional Strategy
  • You'll be the bridge between Legal, AdTech, and Engineering. You need to be able to explain the technical risk to legal, and the regulatory requirements to our engineering leads.
