We're looking for a Senior Product Manager I to own one of the most essential surfaces in that foundation: how records are created whether by humans or by AI and how they relate to one another. These relationships are the foundation of the agentic data platform and the future of the CRM. This role covers the full surface of associations - relationship definitions, activity-to-record behavior, association labels and limits, and the record creator used across all object and activity creation in HubSpot.

This is a high-leverage, cross-platform role that will marry our agentic data model platform vision with high-quality, human-in-the-loop data modeling.. The decisions you make here affect every HubSpot product team, every customer managing relational data, and every AI feature that depends on accurate, trustworthy associations to function. You'll need strong CRM data modeling instincts, a deep respect for platform complexity, and the ability to drive alignment across a wide set of stakeholders - engineers, GMs, and product teams building on top of what you own.
In this role you'll get to:
  • Own the end-to-end roadmap for associations as a platform capability: relationship definitions, activity-to-record behavior, association labels, limits, workflows, and the record creator across all object and activity types
  • Lead the near-term company priority to generate associations from unstructured data in support of Smart Deal Progression, a feature that is dependent on accurate, complete meeting, call, and email associations to deals
  • Validate and drive the path for lookup properties as a resolution to long-standing usability gaps in how customers view and manage relational data
  • Close data dead ends through foundational data fixes, including expanding association coverage between object types
  • Define the longer-term associations platform vision: reusable components, richer relationship modeling,
  • "Define and iterate on the associative context between objects and activities in HubSpot's data model that makes AI reliable and trustworthy across HubSpot, working with agent teams internally to drive results"
  • Engage directly with customers - from SMBs managing simple contact records to enterprise teams running multi-object data architectures - to deeply understand where relational data breaks down
  • Drive alignment with PMs, engineers, and architects across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and AI Agents to ensure associations evolve in a backward-compatible, forward-looking way
  • Represent the associations roadmap to senior leadership, Ecosystem partners, and key enterprise customers
We are looking for people who have:
  • Experience launching products successfully to customers, ideally in platform, data infrastructure, or CRM contexts
  • Deep fluency in CRM data modeling - entity-relationship modeling, association and activity schemas, record creation patterns, and how relational complexity surfaces in customer workflows
  • Strong intuition for cross-platform UX: the ability to reason about how changes to foundational data surfaces affect the experience across a wide set of HubSpot products
  • A multidisciplinary approach to thinking, combining customer empathy, technical depth, and business judgment to prioritize and sequence platform work
  • The ability to read and write technical specs; comfort reviewing architecture diagrams, ERDs, and data model documentation
  • The ability to articulate product vision clearly to a variety of audiences - engineers, executives, and cross-functional partners
  • A deep respect for the expertise and insights of collaborators, including engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and go-to-market partners
  • The ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information and with meaningful platform risk
  • An understanding of how foundational data quality and relational modeling underpin AI reliability - and a drive to close the gap between where we are and where agents need us to be
As a member of the Product Management org at HubSpot you'll:
  • Join a product-led culture that truly puts the customer first
  • Create and advance an ambitious product strategy driven by customer needs, business goals, powerful data, and global market indicators
  • Partner closely with colleagues in UX and Engineering to create a high-value product that's both powerful and easy to use
  • Use your voice, share your perspective, and have a real impact based on your point of view
  • Know what will lead to getting promoted, and why, thanks to clear expectations and robust career paths
  • Be empowered to show up as your authentic self and choose a work style and location where you can do your best work, whether that's at home, in an office, or a blend of the two
