Full Job Description
Turn promising opportunities into products that create meaningful value for customers and the business.

As a senior product manager at Gallup, you'll anticipate where the market and our customers are heading, determine which opportunities are worth pursuing, and lead the development of products that strengthen Gallup's portfolio and generate measurable returns.

This is not a maintenance role. You'll own a portfolio of initiatives end to end, bringing structure and execution discipline to complex, cross-functional efforts and making thoughtful prioritization decisions. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, research and senior product leaders to turn high-potential opportunities into products that customers value and that drive adoption, growth and return on investment.

What You'll Do
  • Identify and size market opportunities by synthesizing customer insights, market and competitive signals and Gallup's data to determine where to play, which customer segments to serve and the potential return
  • Build business cases, weigh initiatives against business impact, effort and risk, and maintain focused, well-communicated road maps aligned with the product managers who own core products
  • Define success metrics, guardrails, ROI expectations and stop conditions before development begins, and establish the measures needed to evaluate results
  • Drive end-to-end product decisions by clarifying problems, defining scope, validating assumptions with customers and deciding when an initiative should advance, pivot or stop
  • Engage directly with enterprise clients, senior internal stakeholders and early adopters to test ideas, gather feedback and refine products
  • Anticipate risks and surface trade-offs early to keep work focused and moving forward
  • Partner with research and design to create exceptional user experiences grounded in behavioral science and Gallup's rigorous research standards
  • Lead cross-functional product launches in partnership with the launch program manager
  • Help elevate product management standards, practices and capabilities across the team

What Makes You Stand Out
  • Commercial judgment: You evaluate opportunities through the lens of customer value, ROI, revenue, retention and cost. You can size opportunities, build compelling business cases and make clear recommendations about where to invest - and when the evidence signals it's time to stop.
  • Persuasive leadership: You communicate complex ideas with clarity and diplomacy, earn trust with senior stakeholders and enterprise clients, and influence decisions across teams.
  • Evidence-based thinking: You combine customer insight, market signals and behavioral data to make decisions, define meaningful measures of success and evaluate results objectively.
  • End-to-end ownership: You have led every phase of product delivery, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term strategy. You bring structure to ambiguity, make sound decisions and take accountability for product outcomes.
  • Hands-on AI experience: You prototype with modern LLM tools and APIs and have shipped or planned model-driven features. You understand how to evaluate AI performance and can collaborate effectively with data scientists on model quality and trade-offs.

What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, required
  • At least six years of product management experience with accountability for product strategy and execution, including at least two years owning a complex product with multiple stakeholders, required; program or project management experience is valuable context but does not substitute for product ownership
  • Demonstrated experience sizing opportunities, building business cases and prioritizing product investments based on business impact required
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with enterprise clients and senior executives, required
  • Experience with B2B and B2B2C or multisided products preferred; direct consumer engagement and retention craft valued
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, edtech, HR tech or assessment platforms preferred
  • Experience leading cross-functional product launches preferred
  • Familiarity with assessment or psychometric content preferred
  • A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's San Francisco office at least three days per week required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship

Gallup offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and other insurance options; a fully vested 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching; an employee stock ownership program; mass transit reimbursement; family-building benefits; an employee assistance program; and various reimbursements and activities that enhance our associates' wellbeing. We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $200,000-$240,000 for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors, including an individual's education, experience and skills.
