Senior Product Manager, Driver Experience and Integrations

Description

Senior Product Manager, Driver Experience and Integrations

Only candidates local to the Chicagoland area will be considered

Hybrid: In Office Every Thursday in Elmhurst, IL Required

We9re looking for a Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our Partner ecosystem. The Partner ecosystem consists of our logistics fulfilment Driver Apps and our B2B Integrations. This ecosystem of mobile apps, web apps and integrations is how MedSpeed delivers high quality service round the clock.

You9ll start by leading a focused team of engineers, designers, and QA. You9ll partner closely with engineering leadership, design, operations, and industry partners to strategize and build the next turn of this critical set of capabilities for MedSpeed.

We focus on Azure and the .NET tech stack. You don9t need to write code, but you should be comfortable working closely with engineers.
What We Care About Most: Product Sense

Above any specific skill or tool, we9re hiring for product sense - the judgment to know what9s worth building and what isn9t, often before the data is in. It9s the trait that most consistently separates PMs who ship products customers love from PMs who ship features on time. If this section resonates with you, you9re probably the person we9re looking for.

Concretely, product sense shows up as:

• Pattern recognition for what good looks like. You can use a competitor9s product for 10 minutes and articulate what9s working, what9s broken, and what the team likely argued about internally. You notice friction that others have stopped noticing.
• An instinct for the real problem. When a customer asks for 4a button that does X,4 you don9t just build the button. You figure out the underlying job they9re trying to get done, and you often come back with a better solution than the one they asked for.
• Judgment under uncertainty. Most product decisions don9t come with enough data to be obvious. You9re comfortable making a confident call when the dashboard doesn9t tell you the answer - and your batting average is high.
• Ruthlessness about scope. Given a 12-item feature list, you can quickly identify the 3 that actually matter and defend cutting the rest. You protect the team from work that sounds good in a meeting but won9t move the needle.
• Calibrated empathy for different users. Not 4I am the user,4 but the ability to genuinely inhabit different personas - the new admin setting things up for the first time, the daily power user, the executive who logs in once a quarter - and predict how each will react to a design before it ships.
• Coherence of vision. The features you ship feel like they belong to the same product. Your choices compound into something bigger over time rather than accumulating disconnected good ideas.
• A natural product ambassador. You don9t just build great products, you believe in them, champion their value, and inspire others to do the same. Whether engaging with customers, executives, sales/operations teams, or industry peers, you can articulate the product9s value in a way that builds excitement, trust, and advocacy.

We9ll screen for this directly in the interview process - expect to critique our portal, prioritize improvements live, and walk us through past product decisions in depth.

How You Will Contribute

• Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Partner ecosystem and its sub components.
• Translate your internal stakeholder and end user needs, business goals, and market insights into a clear, prioritized backlog with well-defined requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead discovery work: user interviews, usability sessions, competitive research, and deep analysis of product dashboards and error/observability data (e.g., Sentry) to surface friction points, generate ideas, and validate problems and solutions before committing engineering effort.
• Apply strong product sense and judgment to make confident calls when data is incomplete - knowing when to dig deeper, when to ship and learn, and when to say no.
• Use AI tools aggressively to multiply your own output: drafting PRDs and specs, synthesizing customer feedback at scale, analyzing usage patterns, prototyping ideas, and accelerating your own research and writing. We expect you to be on the frontier of how a modern PM works with AI.
• Partner with your designer to shape intuitive, accessible experiences that work consistently across Flutter web and mobile clients.
• Work daily with your engineering team to scope work, make trade-offs, unblock decisions, and ensure quality delivery. Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and roadmap reviews.
• Define and track success metrics (adoption, engagement, retention, NPS, support deflection, time-to-value) and use them to guide what we build next.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across the business - communicate clearly about what9s coming, what9s slipping, and why.
• Help shape team growth as we scale from ~7 to ~13 people, including input on hiring, onboarding, and squad structure.

Skills for Success

• 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years owning a portfolio of 2-3 solutions, ideally a mix of mobile, web and API integrations.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Track record of shipping mobile and web apps on time and with high quality.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams that include designers, QA, and 5+ engineers. Bonus if you9ve grown a team through a similar scale-up.
• Strong product discovery instincts - comfortable talking to customers, synthesizing what you hear, and translating it into concrete product decisions.
• Fluency with the mechanics of modern product delivery: agile ceremonies, backlog management in Jira, and design collaboration in Figma.
• Metric and data fluency across multiple sources, to bring objectivity to product decisions by defining meaningful success metrics, measuring performance, and using data to continuously improve outcomes.. Comfortable digging into product analytics, error and observability tools like Sentry, and BI/SQL when needed. You actively mine dashboards and error reports as a source of product ideas, not just as a reactive monitoring tool.
• Demonstrated, current use of AI in your daily PM workflow. We9re a Claude shop, and you should be able to talk specifically about how you use Claude (or comparable tools) to do your job better - research synthesis, writing specs, rapid prototyping, analyzing feedback at scale, and beyond. Curiosity and willingness to keep pushing the frontier here is essential.
• Solid technical fluency. You don9t need to code, but you should understand APIs, common web/mobile architecture concepts, and be able to have substantive conversations with engineers about trade-offs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication. You can write a crisp PRD, present a roadmap to executives, and explain the 4why4 to engineers in the same week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with.NET, or similar cross-platform mobile and enterprise backend stacks.
• Prior experience building products, applications, technologies for last mile logistics, healthcare delivery systems, national and regional lab operations.
• Experience launching or scaling a customer self-service portal.
• Prior experience managing a team that grew significantly in a short period.
