Full Job Description
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager, Data Products to own the intellectual property and analytical functionality at the heart of what our CleanSight and CleanTrade platforms deliver.

Position Overview

As Senior Product Manager, Data Products, you'll own the data platform at the core of Resurety's value proposition to our clients. Our models power both CleanSight and CleanTrade, spanning fundamental forecasts, generation modeling, emissions modeling, and contract simulation. You'll turn them into products our customers trust and act on, and own the data services and APIs that carry them into our customers' workflows.

You'll report to the VP of Product. You'll partner closely with our Data Science and Research team and own the product work that turns their science into capabilities that benefit our customers. You'll also own our data supply: vendor relationships, data availability, pipelines, and the strategy for expanding our datasets to meet customer needs.

This is a hands-on, technical role. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with engineers, data scientists and researchers. You'll be measured on outcomes like data coverage, quality, and accuracy, and ultimately customer adoption, not just what ships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Modeling and Forecasting products. Customers manage their clean energy portfolios and make investment decisions on top of our products, so accuracy hits their bottom line directly. You'll own the platform behind our forecasts, generation modeling, emissions modeling, contract simulation and management. You'll expand its coverage as customer needs evolve into new asset types and markets.
  • Data products and services. You'll own our data products end to end: the API, MCP access, and data download. You'll define how customers use each one, how they get access, and the metrics that tell us whether a data product is working.
  • Data supply and vendors. You'll own data availability across the platform. You'll manage relationships with multiple data vendors and the pipelines that bring their data in. You'll set the strategy for expanding our datasets so we can support new customer workflows.
  • Research partnership. You'll partner with Research and data science on our fundamentals-based forecast method and our battery revenue models. You'll bring customer needs into model priorities so the science we invest in maps to value customers will pay for.
  • Platform ownership. You'll own a horizontal platform that other product lines build on. You'll balance those teams' needs and keep the platform reliable, well-documented, and easy to build on.
What You'll Bring
  • You're a strong product thinker who can work successfully across platform infrastructure, data supply, and customer experience.
  • You turn a set of technical capabilities into a clear product strategy and a compelling long-term vision, and you can make the case to invest in it.
  • You have the technical depth to work closely with engineers on data models, APIs, pipelines, and platform architecture.
  • You have strong analytical instincts. You're comfortable using data to understand coverage, quality, and product performance, and you'll build the measurement where it doesn't exist yet.
  • You treat reliability as product work. Data quality, failure recovery, observability, and the operational load a product creates are part of the job.
  • You lead well across functions. You'll work with Engineering, Research, Commercial, Customer Success, and external data partners.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • You have 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record owning a platform, API, data product, or integrations. You've been measured on outcomes like reliability, coverage, or adoption, not only feature delivery.
  • You have 3+ years of working experience within the energy market domain (especially in the areas of forecasting analytics, project valuation, procurements)
  • You have demonstrated technical depth to partner closely with engineers on data models and platform architecture.
  • You already use AI tools in your own work and are curious about how AI can be utilized as a force multiplier for your success and the broader team.
Compensation, Benefits and Location
  • The base compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000.
  • Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This range does not include annual bonus, equity-based incentives, and benefits.
  • Robust medical, 401K and other benefits.
  • Boston Office Location - 40 Water Street, 9th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts
