Senior Product Manager, Control Plane (RSC-G & Government)Location: US HQ (Hybrid) or Washington DC metro (remote)
About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Rubrik Security Cloud Control Plane team and own the product roadmap Rubrik Security Cloud-Government (RSC-G) and government-focused product initiatives across our product portfolio.
You will work with our field team and directly with customers to develop a strong, informed point of view on the prioritization for RSC-G and own the outcome. You will work with our Compliance organization to translate frameworks like FedRAMP, StateRAMP/GovRAMP, CMMC, and FIPS as well as new regulations impacting the need for digital sovereignty across the globe into product requirements..
What You Will Do- Own the product roadmap for RSC-G and related government needs. Develop an informed point of view on where this area needs to go, and clearly articulate the reasoning behind roadmap decisions to engineering and stakeholders.
- Turn regulatory frameworks and mandates into concrete platform requirements, in partnership with Compliance and engineering and product managers across our portfolio.
- Run your own discovery. Talk directly and continuously with the field, government customers, and internal stakeholders to surface requirements.
- Create and present the business case for investing in (or deferring) specific capabilities based on objective criteria.
- Close parity gaps. Identify where government-required capability already exists but isn't enabled or documented, and drive the fastest path to closing that gap.
- Use AI agents to automate compliance checks and provide field information.
Preferred Qualifications- Solid product management experience with a track record of owning the strategy and roadmap for a defined product area, or equivalent experience as a solutions engineer, solutions architect, or in a technical customer-facing role, ideally with exposure to regulated or public sector environments.
- Familiarity with government compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, FIPS as well as new regulations BSI C3A and Cyber Essentials that are in place to protect the data of specific nations.
- Comfortable working closely with engineering: writing clear requirements, understanding technical trade-offs, and building trust through the rationale behind decisions
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure or cloud platforms delivered across multiple deployment models (SaaS, customer-managed, private, air-gapped/disconnected) is a plus.
- Demonstrated fluency with using AI in the way you work such as using AI tools to accelerate research, author requirements, and create documentation as a default part of daily execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with a premium on precision.
- U.S. citizenship may be required for certain government customer engagements.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
