Location: USA - Iselin, Wood Ave Division: Air & Sea Job Posting Title: Senior Product Manager, Airfreight Time Type: Full Time Summary The Senior Product Manager - Airfreight is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing the Airfreight product portfolio to drive commercial growth, operational excellence, and customer value. The role leads product strategy, carrier partnerships, procurement, pricing, and innovation while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to deliver competitive, standardized, and profitable airfreight solutions. Duties & Responsibilities Product Strategy & Commercial Management • Develop and execute Airfreight product strategies aligned with regional and global objectives. • Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch, enhancement, and retirement. • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends to develop competitive products. • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. • Develop product documentation, pricing guidance, and value propositions. • Support strategic customer engagements and commercial growth initiatives. Market Intelligence, Pricing & Procurement • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments to support product and commercial strategies. • Build and manage strategic airline partnerships while evaluating carrier performance, pricing, capacity, and service levels. • Support carrier procurement, network allocation, and commercial negotiations. • Develop pricing strategies and maintain the global rate database to ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness. Product & Network Development • Identify opportunities to expand Air Direct, charter, and strategic airfreight solutions. • Develop value-added products and industry-specific solutions for key verticals. • Drive innovation to strengthen the product portfolio and respond to changing customer requirements. Operational Excellence & Digitalization • Partner with Operations to ensure consistent product execution across the network. • Lead initiatives focused on process standardization, SOP development, capacity optimization, automation, and digital transformation. • Collaborate with Digital and IT teams to improve connectivity, visibility, data quality, and operational efficiency. • Promote sustainable and technology-driven solutions that enhance customer experience and operational performance. Cross-Functional Leadership • Lead cross-functional projects involving Sales, Operations, Procurement, Pricing, Finance, IT, and Global Product teams. • Develop and deliver product training, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations. • Manage airline incentive programs and commercial initiatives that strengthen carrier partnerships and business performance. • Foster collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization. Educational Background / Work Experience • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Product Management, Airfreight, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Logistics. • Experience managing transportation products, airline procurement, pricing, and commercial initiatives. • Experience leading cross-functional projects in a matrix organization. • International freight forwarding experience with a focus on Airfreight preferred.
