Job OverviewThe Senior Product Manager, ACT Digital Solutions owns end-to-end lifecycle responsibility for one or more digital health products - from business case and market definition through launch, commercialization, and lifecycle management. This role blends technical fluency in healthcare software/hardware, portfolio strategy, profitability, commercial and marketing acumen, and the cross-functional influence needed to align R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Sales in a global, matrixed medtech organization.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties• Define and execute product strategy and multi-generational roadmaps, ensuring every product is Valuable, Usable, Feasible, and Viable - and in alignment with corporate goals and objectives
• Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: business case, requirements definition, development partnership, launch, and post-launch optimization.
• Integrate Voice of Customer, clinical workflow insight, and competitive intelligence into product and market requirements.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to drive alignment and commercial readiness.
• Develop global brand marketing strategies and lead product launch programs to support regional market introduction and expansion
• Build business cases and financial justifications; track post-launch performance.
• Own product-line pricing strategy, conduct annual price reviews, and collaborate with Finance to monitor margin performance and forecast accuracy.
• Engage with internal and external customers, clinical affairs teams, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to inform product strategy. Attend conferences, professional medical education events, and conduct field visits to validate product positioning and support portfolio activities.
• Monitor competitors and market trends; adjust strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
• Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations applicable to the role.
• Contribute to design control processes (e.g., design inputs, risk management) as the product management representative, ensuring user needs are accurately translated into requirements.
Minimum Requirements• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in product management or a related commercial role within medical device, or healthcare IT is required.
• Integrated experience across hardware and SaaS platforms is a plus. Experience managing enterprise-level software products is a plus.
• Hands-on experience from developing, selling and/or deploying healthcare IT products in a US hospital context is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated experience across the full product lifecycle, including at least one product launch.
• Experience working within a regulated medical device or healthcare software environment is strongly preferred.
• English language fluency required.
• Demonstrated experience supporting commercialization across multiple global markets or regions, including collaboration with global and regional stakeholders in a corporate context.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Working knowledge of healthcare software/SaaS products and data privacy/cybersecurity considerations; hardware/software integration experience a plus.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and financial acumen, with a proven track record of translating market insights into actionable product decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate technical details in clear, business-relevant terms to a variety of stakeholders across the business.
• Proven organizational skills and a results-oriented approach to managing competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct market assessments; qualitative and quantitative research.
• Proficiency with product analytics tools and data-driven decision-making; ability to define and track KPIs such as adoption rates, NPS, LTV/CAC, churn, and feature utilization.
Preferred Qualifications• 7+ years of experience in product management, with global experience preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of success in portfolio management, product launches, and commercialization.
• Initiative and self-motivation, with a strong work ethic, leadership orientation, and proactive interpersonal skills; proven ability to manage cross-functionally through influence in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing portfolio strategies that drive meaningful revenue growth, market expansion, and business transformation
• Experience operating in a complex, global matrix organization and aligning product, commercial, clinical, regulatory, quality, and technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate product value propositions, positioning, and evidence-based commercialization strategies.
Physical Work Conditions• Primarily office-based or remote work environment with regular use of computer, phone, and collaboration tools.
• May require extended periods of sitting, standing, reading, typing, and participating in virtual or in-person meetings.
• May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
• Domestic and international travel to customer and company sites, up to approximately 30%.
The salary range for this position is between $152,000-$190,000 per year depending on experience, + 25% STIP
