Full Job Description

At TEL Safety, Quality and Compliance are our Top Priority. It is our pride. We are looking for a talented Senior Product Engineer to contribute to the development of new products through various stages of their development life cycle. This Senior Product Engineer will be an experienced professional with the ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.

Success as a Senior Product Engineer will be self-motivated, need little day-to-day direction after alignment of expectations and responsibilities, work effectively within a team, and have expertise around associated business processes and product development workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as factory point of contact for advanced troubleshooting of issues at customer sites; coordinate resolution with cross-functional team
  • Ensure customer requirements are well documented and delivered to meet expectations
  • Provide information to field teams and customers regarding tool operation needs (power, chemicals, water, etc.)
  • Ensure customer specifications are well understood by the TMEA community
  • Drive compliance for all engineering change orders
  • Drafting engineering requirements for new feature requests from the customer that enable improvements to system performance to meet stringent customer specifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 8+ years of professional Engineering experience or a master’s degree with 6+ years of professional Engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specific experience with semiconductor equipment or similar fully automated capital equipment.  Experience with gas-cluster ion beam and / or ion implantation technology and etch is a plus
  • Proven experience in the application of lean principles and formal problem-solving techniques
  • Proficiency in project planning software.  Experience with Monday.com is a plus
  • Certified Project Management Professional is a plus
  • This role would reside in the US for approximately one year (Chelmsford or Chaska with best learning opportunity in Chelmsford) and then spend ~ 2 years on an international ex-pat assignment in Japan.
  • Engaging communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and management skills and an analytical thinker

Physical Requirements:

Job duties are performed in an office setting or in a clean room environment. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional travel to TEL factory, training facilities and customer locations may be required.
