• Proficient in designing complex, stateful software with a focus on quality and efficient delivery.
• Excellent communication skills for leading reviews and providing actionable feedback.
• Skilled in driving solutions when requirements are vague, knowing when to escalate issues.
• High proficiency in a technical area like data visualization or accessibility is essential.
• Familiar with Figma for managing design systems and complex components across projects.
• Capable of quickly prototyping design ideas using mockups and interactive wireframes.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete design lifecycle for your product area, from research to iteration.
• Produce and communicate high-quality, production-ready designs with significant autonomy.
• Consider the holistic user experience, addressing potential errors, successes, and dead ends.
• Apply and improve design systems while pinpointing gaps within existing frameworks.
• Contribute to features that span across teams, negotiating tradeoffs with product and engineering.
• Lead design reviews, sharing work early for feedback and providing constructive critiques to peers.
• Mentor junior designers through feedback and collaboration, contributing to recruitment efforts when needed.
