Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering with 7 years' experience or Master's with 6 years' experience required.
• EPC project experience preferred.
• Strong background in water or wastewater process engineering, including treatment systems.
• Ability to effectively engage with various clients, with existing local relationships a plus.
• Expertise in standard engineering techniques and process design codes (ASME, ANSI, API, PIP, NACE).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and process simulation software (Hysys, Aspen, HTRI) preferred.
• PE License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and execution for municipal or industrial water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Conduct day-to-day technical work, project planning, and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project objectives and performance goals; communicate technical matters with clients.
• Support client development, prepare proposals, and conduct technical presentations.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies as required; mentor junior staff.
• Plan and communicate project technical needs to management and facilitate team collaboration.
• Provide design-build project delivery support in partnership with Burns & McDonnell’s Construction/Design-Build group.
