Full Job Description
We're looking for a highly strategic Senior Principal Program Manager to join the GTM Excellence team within Reddit's GTM Strategy & Operations organization. In this heavily executive-facing role, you will operate as a Business Transformation Manager leading large-scale strategic initiatives-specifically owning end-to-end processes, transforming our methodologies, and evolving our systems, data, and products. The ideal candidate brings immense executive presence, strong judgment, and a deep background in digital media forecasting to build the systems and processes that maximize customer-facing time and create a seamless experience for Reddit advertisers. Location: Hybrid. New York, NY; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA Responsibilities: • Support core GTM leadership by managing Reddit's largest OPEX planning cycles, overseeing complex roadmaps, and ensuring decision-ready documents are prepared for monthly engagements with executive leadership, including the CRO and COO. • Own the end-to-end processes. Example: Manage and optimize stages across the buy cycle, including pipeline, forecasting methodologies, campaign planning, credit checks, credit limits, application, and invoicing. • Act as an extension of senior leadership. Engage heavily with the CRO, COO, and cross-functional senior leaders across Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Data Product to gather buy-in, pressure test ideas, and accelerate execution. • Break down ambiguous, high-impact opportunities into clear problem statements, develop hypotheses, drive analysis, and identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve how Reddit operates. • Own work from idea to execution, including rollout planning, stakeholder communication, training, and adoption. Navigate strong change management processes to ensure smooth transitions across a wide variety of sales spaces. • Evaluate how work gets done today, identify friction points and root causes, and design simpler, more standardized processes, policies, and ways of working that improve seller productivity and the advertiser experience. • Define success metrics, track results, gather feedback, and refine processes over time. Establish governance and guardrails where needed to drive consistency without adding unnecessary complexity. Required Qualifications: • 8-12+ years of experience in strategic program management, business transformation, strategy & operations, or a related field. • Background in Digital Media companies (experience at a platform + agency is highly preferred). • Executive communication and stakeholder management skills. Must be comfortable being put in front of and influencing C-suite stakeholders (CRO, COO) and acting as a seamless extension of leadership. • Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and independently structure complex problems into clear recommendations and action plans. • Experience leading change management initiatives across cross-functional teams, from initial problem framing through implementation and adoption. • Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution; this role requires an owner, not just a coordinator. Preferred Qualifications: • Startup experience in addition to larger tech/media platforms. • Strong foundational experience in basic strategy & operations or business operations. • Expertise in triaging complex issues, conducting root cause analysis, and utilizing competitive intelligence. • Familiarity with sales tools and technology that improve seller efficiency and productivity, including workflow automation and AI-enabled ways of working. • Deep Forecasting experience, including a proven track record of managing and transforming forecasting processes and the full RFP-to-invoice lifecycle. Benefits: • Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs • 401k with Employer Match • Global Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, from workspace to professional development to caregiving support • Family Planning Support • Gender-Affirming Care • Mental Health & Coaching Benefits • Flexible Vacation & Paid Volunteer Time Off • Generous Paid Parental Leave #LI-Hybrid Pay Transparency: This job posting may span more than one career level. About Reddit

Reddit is an American social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other members. Posts are organized by subject into user-created boards called "communities" or "subreddits", which cover topics such as news, politics, religion, science, movies, video games, music, books, sports, fitness, cooking, pets, and image-sharing. Submissions with more upvotes appear towards the top of their subreddit and, if they receive enough upvotes, ultimately on the site's front page. Although there are strict rules prohibiting harassment, it still occurs, and Reddit administrators moderate the communities and close or restrict them on occasion. Moderation is also conducted by community-specific moderators, who are not considered Reddit employees. As of September 2021, Reddit ranks as the 19th-most-visited website in the world and 7th most-visited website in the U.S., according to Alexa Internet. About 42–49.3% of its user base comes from the United States, followed by the United Kingdom at 7.9–8.2% and Canada at 5.2–7.8%. Twenty-two percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 29 years, and 14 percent of U.S. adults aged 30 to 49 years, regularly use Reddit. Reddit was founded by University of Virginia roommates Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian, with Aaron Swartz, in 2005. Condé Nast Publications acquired the site in October 2006. In 2011, Reddit became an independent subsidiary of Condé Nast's parent company, Advance Publications. In October 2014, Reddit raised $50 million in a funding round led by Sam Altman and including investors Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel, Ron Conway, Snoop Dogg, and Jared Leto. Their investment valued the company at $500 million then. In July 2017, Reddit raised $200 million for a $1.8 billion valuation, with Advance Publications remaining the majority stakeholder. In February 2019, a $300 million funding round led by Tencent brought the company's valuation to $3 billion. In August 2021, a $700 million funding round led by Fidelity Investments raised that valuation to over $10 billion.
