Full Job Description
Join our team as a Senior Design Engineer supporting critical utility distribution projects, including storm hardening, pole replacement, and system upgrades. Primarily remote with limited travel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Apply technical knowledge to develop and support utility design projects while ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with designers, drafters, clients, and internal teams to complete accurate design packages.
  • Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and technical analyses for projects of varying complexity.
  • Support project coordination by communicating scope, cost, schedule, and quality considerations.
  • Review and ensure work products meet company and client procedures, including quality control and documentation standards.
  • Conduct peer reviews, perform self-checks, and deliver accurate work with minimal errors.
  • Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Provide guidance to designers and drafters and support team collaboration.
  • Perform field visits and other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in electrical distribution
