Senior Plumbing EngineerJob Summary:The
Senior Plumbing Engineer serves to design and develop plumbing systems for use in commercial buildings.
In this role, you will:- Design plumbing systems including medical/laboratory piping and gases.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications of plumbing systems and topographical maps.
- Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for discipline with clients
- Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment.
- Develop calculations for plumbing systems and associated controls.
- Perform QA/QC of design work.
You will be a great fit if:- You have a minimum of 10+ years of experience.
- You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- You have thorough knowledge of plumbing design and corresponding terminology.
- You have experience with laboratories/medical facilities design.
- You have an excellent work ethic and attitude.
Skills/abilities:- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office
- Ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects
- Excellent ability to read, interpret and implement plumbing design documentation.
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
