Description
Key Responsibilities
Equinox Engineering is searching for a Piping Stress Mechanical Engineer.
Minimum 15 years plus EPCM experience in Oil and Gas.
Excellent working knowledge of CAESAR II Software
Excellent knowledge of piping and pipeline stress analysis using CAESAR II
Interface with the other engineering disciplines (process, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, automation, etc.) to ensure a coordinated design and engineering deliverables are completed
Interface with project team and vendors to define project scope, and resolve technical issues
Design involvement will include Pipeline, and Pressure Piping
Ensure consistency and integrity of all major equipment in accordance with all codes and specifications.
Proficient in CSA Z662 code for Pipeline, and ASME B31.3 code for Process Plant Piping
Key Skills & Abilities
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Conventional oil, heavy oil and SAGD or sweet and sour gas project experience is preferred.
CAESAR II excellent working experience is a must
Static and Dynamic piping stress analysis skills
Education & Qualifications
P. Eng. - Mechanical Engineering Degree.
Minimum 15 years oil and gas experience - EPCM background.
Excellent Experience with piping and pipelines Stress Analysis.
