About the job

This position is needed to gather requirements, design solutions, test functionalities, and provide configuration support across the recruit-to-hire employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will partner closely with Talent Acquisition (TA), People Technology, and business stakeholders to drive efficient and user-friendly technology solutions that support global hiring using platforms such as Eightfold, Greenhouse, Workday, HackerRank, LinkedIn, HireRight, and specialized candidate fraud and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with TA and HR stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Lead follow-up requirements gathering clarification and demos to stakeholders to ensure recruit-to-hire business outcomes are being achieved.
  • Analyze existing talent acquisition systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and fraud prevention.
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to configure, design, and implement solutions across TA platforms including Workday, Eightfold, Greenhouse, LinkedIn, HireRight, and HackerRank.
  • Develop detailed functional design documents and use cases tailored to candidate sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
  • Define test strategies, author comprehensive UAT (User Acceptance Testing) scripts, coordinate testing cycles with recruiters, and hands-on log/triage defects.
  • Manage and execute testing activities including system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality delivery across the hiring tech stack.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations for all TA applications.
  • Serve as the liaison between TA business units and People Technology Product Managers or Owners, ensuring that technology solutions meet complex hiring needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruitment technologies, sourcing tools, and industry best practices to inform system enhancements.
  • Create user guides, release notes, and documentation for new features, facilitating training and knowledge transfer sessions for TA users and administrators as needed.

*Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology/business systems analysis with a heavy focus on Talent Acquisition applications.
  • Proven expertise and experience supporting core recruitment systems such as Eightfold, Greenhouse, Workday, HackerRank, LinkedIn, HireRight, and candidate fraud platforms.
  • Strong expertise in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including standard business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, data modeling, process mapping, UAT execution, and documentation.
  • Experience working with internal and external audit teams and understanding of SOX controls to support recurring audit requests and walkthroughs.
  • Experience with configuration, testing, and implementation of HR technology systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing effectively with both technical and non-technical TA stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of HR processes strictly related to recruitment, candidate lifecycle management, sourcing strategies, and pre-hire compliance.

Desired:
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like Jira or Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools specifically related to talent acquisition systems.


Location

This role will be remote and based in the East Coast, USA.

Travel

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $116,960 - $146,200.
  • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $123,760 - $154,700.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $137,520 - $171,900.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
