About the Role

We're looking for a Senior People Business Partner to support leaders across our Sales and Sales Operations & Strategy organization. You'll partner directly with senior leaders to shape org strategy, lead transformation initiatives, and build the structures, processes, and teams that enable scale. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly scaling Sales organization. You'll work directly with ambitious leaders, influence critical business decisions, and play a meaningful role in how the company evolves as we continue to grow.

We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our office in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders on organizational effectiveness, team performance, leadership coaching, and talent strategy
  • Partner with newly appointed leaders to assess team structure and performance, and design high performing organizations that scale effectively
  • Use data and insights to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and influence business decisions
  • Build and drive talent initiatives across performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally sound resolutions
  • Help leaders navigate ambiguity, growth, and change while maintaining a high-performance culture
  • Lead and support organizational transformation work including org design, workforce planning, change management, and operating model evolution
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of HRBP or People Business Partner experience, ideally supporting high-growth GTM or Sales organizations
  • Strong experience partnering with senior leaders through organizational change, transformation, and scaling challenges
  • Demonstrated success leading org design and organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization with sound judgment and strong business acumen
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate people data into actionable recommendations
  • Thrives in an environment where People Partners take broad ownership across talent, leadership, and organizational initiatives rather than relying on specialized COEs
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Master's degree is a plus.

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
