Who You AreYou are a reliable, customer-focused problem solver. You effectively communicate, and listen, through cooperation and teamwork. You are always looking to improve whether learning something new or seeking ways to promote better quality. You are driven to do what it takes to get the job done!
Mission:The Senior Parts Operations Manager leads Loftin's parts operations across all branches in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. This role builds and develops the Regional Parts Managers and branch parts teams, and owns the inventory, processes, and Rehlko relationship that get the right part to the right place at the right time. The focus is keeping Service technicians and customers moving, protecting the company's inventory investment, and growing a profitable parts business that runs the same way at every branch.
Obsessions:- Lead, develop, retain, and hold accountable a high-performing parts team.
- Keep Service running. Parts availability should never be the reason a technician can't complete a job or a customer waits. Ensure parts for scheduled PMs are staged before the technician rolls.
- Own inventory health across all branches. Develop and implement stocking strategies aligned with company goals, including forecasting demand, setting order points, and optimizing inventory at each branch, while driving accuracy and turns and minimizing obsolescence.
- Manage the Rehlko parts relationship and programs, and enforce Loftin's Rehlko parts preference across the company. Solicit and maintain other suppliers who provide OEM parts for non-Rehlko brands.
- Run one parts operation, not nine. Standardize processes, continuously review policies and procedures, and hold the team accountable to them. Drive Department Playbooks and develop and maintain them where needed.
- Grow our people. Develop and implement Parts Qualification Cards and a comprehensive onboarding program for new parts employees.
- Lead with safety. Ensure established Parts Department safety criteria and guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment, in partnership with the Safety Officer.
