A day in the life:

The Senior Paid Advertising Strategist leads performance marketing strategy and execution across complex, high-value accounts, leveraging expert-level channel knowledge and advanced measurement techniques to drive results tied to broader business goals. They own campaign planning, optimizations, reporting, QA, and proactive client communication while navigating challenging conversations with confidence. They provide forward-thinking insights, facilitate strategic discussions, and enhance workflows through AI and the Nova ecosystem. As a senior leader, they mentor junior talent, uphold excellence across deliverables, and deepen cross-channel integration to elevate overall account performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead performance marketing strategy and execution across marquee accounts, ensuring delivery against all client goals.
  • Conduct thorough QA to prevent errors that could negatively impact client revenue.
  • Ensure accurate budget pacing and advise on budget changes.
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in at least two major ad channels (e.g., Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube, Snapchat).
  • Lead proactive strategy recommendations across assigned channels, surfacing opportunities and risks ahead of client requests.
  • Analyze campaign data and client-specific sources of truth (including MMTs) to develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain client testing roadmaps and project manage next steps, ensuring a consistent, ongoing cadence of experimentation.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge across attribution, incrementality, contribution analysis, measurement frameworks, MMTs/LRAs, and channel-specific best practices.
  • Maintain consistent, high-quality communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Lead proactive, strategic conversations around media buying, performance opportunities, and optimization plans.
  • Escalate performance risks early, distinguishing normal fluctuation from genuine account risk requiring intervention.
  • Serve as a key strategic leader within the department and account teams, influencing direction and decision-making.
  • Complete new business appraisals as needed for the paid advertising product within your division.
  • Support the growth of junior talent through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and participation in team ceremonies (scrums, 1:1s, etc.).
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of the Power Circuit, executing on all recommendations from the solutions roadmap.
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance workflows, outputs, and business efficiency.
  • Utilize and fully integrate Power Digital's nova ecosystem tools and methodologies within day-to-day responsibilities.
Role Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of digital marketing experience; 3+ years in an agency setting
  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience with at least 2+ of the following paid advertising channels
    • Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and other applicable paid advertising networks
    • Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy development, campaign strategy, and optimizations
  • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Expert knowledge of funnel marketing and paid media's place in the marketing funnel
  • Strong ability to formulate meaningful insights from marketing data, going beyond the stat and telling the story
