About the Role:

As the Senior Operations Manager, Inventory & Receiving, you will be responsible for leading all inbound warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow activities within our food-based Fulfillment Center (FC). This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, receiving efficiency, product quality, and operational compliance while supporting the overall success of the supply chain.

You will oversee receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and related warehouse functions, driving process improvements that enhance inventory integrity, productivity, and service levels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of warehouse inventory systems, and a proven ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced environment.

This position balances strategic planning with daily operational execution, serving as an agent of change while developing high-performing teams and ensuring inventory accuracy throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a Safety-First culture within our food-based Fulfillment Center. Responsible for meeting site environmental, health, quality, and safety performance metrics while maintaining compliance with OSHA, AIB, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, and FDA requirements.
  • Lead all receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and inbound warehouse operations, ensuring efficient product flow from receipt through storage and distribution.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through cycle count programs, inventory audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. Establish and monitor inventory KPIs including accuracy, shrink, reconciliation, and inventory health metrics.
  • Oversee daily receiving operations, ensuring timely unloading, inspection, documentation, and system transactions while maintaining product quality and traceability standards.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies that optimize space utilization, product rotation, inventory turns, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate teams across receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping functions. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational and inventory data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and improve overall warehouse performance. Prepare operating reports and communicate results to leadership.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline receiving, inventory, and warehouse processes while ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Partner closely with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Distribution teams to ensure inventory availability, operational alignment, and seamless execution across the network.
  • Develop a highly effective leadership team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and development opportunities, and utilizing performance management tools to support employee growth.
  • Build strong professional relationships with direct reports and site HR Business Partners. Effectively communicate operational challenges and maintain accurate administrative records as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong experience managing receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for food manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution environments.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational and inventory data.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate large teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience driving process improvements and implementing operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, delegate effectively, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong conflict resolution and decision-making abilities.
  • Strict adherence to company standards, food safety requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

  • Salary: $95,000 - $105,000

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week or
