About The Opportunity
Position Summary
A successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality reporting and analytical service to local teams. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring they provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to business partners, unlocks new business insights, and ensure the operations team is informed for accurate decision-making. The team member will be part of the Canadian Finance team working collaboratively to support the Canadian operations.
Pay Band and Position Status
Pay Band $100,000-$150,000

Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
• As an integral member of the team, the applicant will be responsible for influencing sound business decisions including business planning, financial forecasting, proactive analysis, and value creation to deliver on our profitable growth objectives
• The applicant will work closely with cross-functional operations members to drive and optimize cost savings for operational network, streamline processes, and work on improving overall business analytics
• Provide management with financial advice and counsel on all pertinent business matters by supplying timely and meaningful financial analysis of actual performance, business plans, and other discrete projects
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives for finance process and information flow
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly close process
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations
• Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders
• Provide leadership, oversight and guidance to the development of operational finance team.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• SAP experience
• Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools, and strategies
• Ability to read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
• Ability to present complex data in a way that showcases a good understanding of the problem, command of relevant data that could alter the outcome of the analysis, and make a compelling recommendation focused on delivering results
• Ability to clearly communicate with both business partners and team members, driving alignment and action through clarity
• Knowledge of the functions, tools, and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization
• Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports
• Knowledge of financial and accounting applications specific to the organization
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Primarily works in an office/manufacturing environment
• Occasional travel required
