Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Mobile Application Developer to build and maintain mission-critical B2B applications across Android, Android TV, iOS, tvOS and macOS platforms. The role owns the full mobile application lifecycle including architecture, development, testing, release management, deployment and ongoing support. The successful candidate will possess deep Android expertise, strong native Apple development experience using Swift and hands-on ownership of both Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect.
Design, develop, test and maintain native Android, Android TV, iOS, tvOS, and macOS applications.
Implement new features and enhancements for video streaming and enterprise applications.
Manage application releases, versioning, deployments and production support across Google Play and Apple App Store ecosystems.
Own App Store Connect and Google Play Console administration, compliance, metadata management, phased rollouts, and store submissions.
Monitor application health, crash analytics, performance metrics and customer feedback.
Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies, agentic frameworks and developer productivity tools to improve software delivery, testing and documentation.
Collaborate with product owners, project managers, UX designers, QA engineers and backend developers.
Solve production issues, defects and support tickets.
Contribute to architecture decisions, engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines and development best practices.
5+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
Expert-level Kotlin and Java development.
Strong Swift development experience for iOS, tvOS, and macOS.
Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Swift Concurrency, Xcode, TestFlight, and App Store Connect.
Extensive Android SDK experience and Android Architecture Components.
Experience building and supporting Android TV and Apple TV applications.
Knowledge of video streaming technologies including Bitmovin, DRM and Google Cast.
Experience with REST APIs, authentication and mobile security best practices.
Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection and modular application design.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Bitrise and automated testing.
Strong understanding of Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect administration.
Experience publishing, maintaining and supporting production mobile applications.
Experience leveraging Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to accelerate software development.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
