Full Job Description
Great marketing ideas are only as good as their delivery. At Durabuilt, our Director sets the direction, approves the budget and aligns on the creative. Then it's over to you. You'll take each approved brief and turn it into finished work that lands on time, on budget and on brand, owning every meeting, feedback loop, deadline and hand-off along the way. If you love a full plate, thrive on bringing people together and get real satisfaction from seeing a launch go out the door exactly as planned, we'd like to meet you. What you'll do
Deliver programs from brief to launch
Turn approved briefs into clear project plans with scope, owners, milestones and dependencies.
Run the full delivery cycle: kickoffs, status meetings, creative reviews, feedback rounds and final sign-off.
Juggle 10 to 20 projects at once and rebalance confidently as priorities shift.
Keep the marketing calendar accurate and visible to marketing, sales and leadership.
Rally the team and partners
Direct day-to-day work across our specialists in digital, events, creative and coordination.
Brief and manage agencies, freelancers and vendors, and hold them to timeline, budget and brand standards.
Turn scattered stakeholder feedback into clear direction so creative keeps moving.
Spot capacity crunches early and propose trade-offs before deadlines slip.
Keep budgets and approvals on track
Track spend against project budgets and flag overages before they happen.
Prepare sharp approval packages (creative, budget and timeline) so decisions are fast and informed.
Reconcile quotes, POs and invoices with our marketing assistant.
Be the go-to for stakeholders
Act as the main point of contact for sales, product and operations on in-flight projects.
Give leadership crisp updates: what's on track, what's at risk and what you need.
Keep sales teams in four provinces in the loop on upcoming campaigns, launches and materials.
Make the machine better
Own and improve our intake, briefing, workflow and project management tools.
Lead post-project recaps: what shipped, what it delivered and what to change next time.
Build templates and repeatable processes so the team can scale without the chaos.
What you bring
5 to 8 years in marketing, including at least 3 years running multi-stakeholder projects or programs, in-house or agency-side.
A track record of delivering integrated campaigns, launches or events through agencies and internal teams.
The ability to get people who don't report to you to deliver, through clarity, follow-up and strong relationships.
Comfort giving direct feedback to teammates, agencies and vendors while keeping the relationship intact.
Strong judgment: you understand why a project exists, can make sensible calls when the brief is silent and can tell whether creative answers the brief.
The instinct to manage up: you flag risks early, bring options and never let your leader be surprised.
Exceptional organization and fluency in project management tool such as Asana, Monday or Wrike.
Clear, concise writing and solid budget discipline across many projects.
Willingness to travel within Western Canada for events and launches.
Bonus points for
Experience in building products, manufacturing or multi-channel B2B/B2C marketing (windows and doors is a plus).
A PMP, CAPM or similar certification.
You'll thrive here if you...
Stay calm under pressure and feel energized by a full plate.
Own outcomes. When something slips, you fix it first and explain it second.
Want to grow into people leadership as the team expands.
