*This position is for LCAC 100 program.
The Marine Engineer will provide senior level support for the LCAC/SSC mechanical systems. This position will apply industry knowledge to perform hull, mechanical repairs and product improvements.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
• Conduct the engineering duties and support for all LCAC/SSC mechanical systems
• Perform operational tasks including, but not limited to, hull and mechanical repairs
• Perform routine work with limited to no supervision or instruction
• In charge of TDPS, CCDs, procedures and product improvements
• Responsible for all reporting and safety procedures
• Ability to take on new assignments with general instructions
• Institute component improvements
• Support mechanical engineering analysis, repair planning
• Give craft availability support as required
• Stay up to date on all technical documentation and reporting requirements
• Apply industry knowledge to various programs and projects ensuring successful completion
• Use knowledge of industry standard policies, procedures and practical applications to complete job tasks
• Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
**Education:**
• Bachelor's Degree required (in mechanical, marine, naval architecture, aerospace or other related engineering field)
**Licenses & Certifications:**
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance required
• NAVSEA craft/ship maintenance
**Experience:**
• Eight to ten (8-10) years of experience in similar position
• Experience with NAVSEA craft/ship maintenance
• Knowledge and familiarity with SEAOPS
• PE experience preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
• Ability to install, assemble, and configure new electronic systems and components such as circuit boards or wiring
• Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix issues in electronic systems, including testing, debugging, and performing quality control checks
• Ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine the electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering and quality control
• Ability to work with various levels of personnel
• Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
** Other:**
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
