Who We Are Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced manufacturing engineer who bridges product design and production-whether that means shaping capacity and design requirements early on, or taking a finished design and determining the best way to bring it to production. You bring strong analytical instincts, a hands-on approach, and the ability to solve complex problems without a clear precedent to follow. You communicate clearly, whether documenting a process, leading root cause investigations, or collaborating with multi-functional teams.
This role offers ownership over how products get built-from cell layout and tooling to the documentation that keeps production running at target rates.
What You Get To Do- Bridge product design and production, ensuring designs can be manufactured efficiently and to spec
- Develop and document manufacturing processes, process flows, and work instructions from prototype through production
- Design cell layouts, fixtures, and tooling using lean principles
- Conduct timing studies to identify bottlenecks and optimize line performance
- Specify and source manufacturing equipment
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve and prevent issues
- Contribute to Lean 2P/3P events and Value Stream Analyses to reduce waste
- Build preventative maintenance plans and champion a safe manufacturing environment
- Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts for clients as needed
What You Bring To The Team- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or related engineering field, plus 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong analytical skills (statistics, advanced algebra, geometry, trigonometry)
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (preferably SolidWorks) and strong Excel skills
- Advanced written/verbal communication skills for technical and business documents
- Ability to solve complex, novel problems with creativity and sound judgment
- Willingness to travel domestically 10-20%
