RSM US Corporate tax helps Canadian and foreign multi-national businesses and privately held companies navigate the complex tax regime in the US. This includes helping with initial structuring considerations when expanding business into the US, annual tax return compliance requirements from both a federal and state perspective, applicability of tax saving opportunities from credits, incentives and other tax law changes, repatriating cash from the US in a tax efficient manner and planning for possible exit strategies. Additionally, our group alsoassistsCanadian citizens with FIRPTA related filings, Form 1099sfor contractor payments, Form 1042sfor any FDAP type payments and other cross-border matters.
As a Tax Senior Manager for RSM you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around three core concepts (Technical & Quality Expertise, People & Talent Management, and Client Service/Business Development):
Responsibilities:
Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns including reviewing PFICs,8865s,8858s,1042s,1099s,5471s,5472setc.
Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $107,000 - $196,600
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
