Full Job Description
Support the Head of Tax Operations, Americas in delivering high-quality tax operations, compliance, and reporting across the Americas region, consisting of the United States, Bermuda, and Canada, with a primary focus on tax compliance, IFRS and statutory tax reporting, outsourced provider coordination, and technology-enabled process improvement.

What you'll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?
  • Support the U.S. tax team in preparing and coordinating tax reporting and compliance deliverables to help ensure submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Perform hands-on preparation, analysis, and project execution for selected tax compliance, tax accounting, technology, and special project matters.
  • Provide limited support for tax planning, M&A, investment, and strategic tax projects, as needed, in coordination with tax leadership and external advisors.
  • Contribute to U.S. tax process redesign efforts by helping document current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support implementation of agreed changes.
  • Maintain clear documentation of existing tax processes, procedures, and key controls.
  • Support the use of available technology to enhance tax processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen reporting capabilities.
  • Assist with identifying potential tax savings opportunities and support the execution of agreed tax strategies.

You will report to Head of Tax Operations, Americas.

What you will BRING

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
  • Extensive relevant public accounting and/or industry tax experience, preferably including experience with U.S. insurance taxation.
  • Robust tax accounting and reporting experience, with primary emphasis on IFRS and statutory reporting.
  • Robust automation mindset and systems fluency, with the ability to identify and help implement technology-enabled improvements to tax processes and controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced provider deliverables, coordinate cross-functional inputs, review work product, and maintain high service quality.
  • Experience with project management, analytical, stakeholder coordination, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to operate both self-supported and as part of a broader tax leadership team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA or equivalent advanced tax/accounting credential preferred.
  • Experience supporting tax audits or controversy matters preferred, including documentation, issue analysis, advisor coordination, and alignment with compliance and reporting positions.




The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 142,700 - 224,800.

Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
