Position Summary: The
Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding leads Just Born's talent attraction strategy, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, candidate experience, and early career talent programs.
This role serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders on workforce needs, labor market trends, and talent acquisition strategies while maintaining hands-on responsibility for key recruiting initiatives. The Senior Manager leads the Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist and manages the processes, partnerships, and programs that help attract, hire, and onboard exceptional talent.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Work Model: Hybrid schedule, typically two in office per week. As our ways of working evolve, we commit to communicating any changes clearly and with ample notice.
How You'll Impact Results: Talent Attraction & Recruitment - Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across corporate, commercial, manufacturing, and technical functions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on workforce needs, talent availability, labor market trends, sourcing strategies, and recruiting best practices.
- Manage critical and leadership-level searches while providing direction and development to the Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist.
- Develop proactive talent pipelines, talent mapping strategies, and early career talent sourcing strategies to support current and future hiring needs.
- Lead Just Born's Summer Internship Program and other early career trainee and Leadership Development talent initiatives.
- Leverage workforce planning data and recruiting metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and improve hiring outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of recruiting processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and candidate quality.
- Maintain expertise in recruiting technologies, sourcing practices, and labor market trends.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience - Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing evolution of Just Born's Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
- Develop and execute employer branding strategies that strengthen Just Born's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Own talent-focused content strategy for the Just Born LinkedIn page and represent Talent Acquisition on the Social Media Content Strategy Team.
- Oversee the content, functionality, and optimization of the careers site.
- Measure and improve the candidate experience through feedback, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure employer brand messaging reflects Just Born's culture, values, and business objectives.
Onboarding & New Hire Experience - Own and continuously enhance the onboarding experience for new associates.
- Maintain onboarding processes, communications, presentations, and supporting resources.
- Analyze onboarding feedback and new hire survey data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide oversight of onboarding standards and scheduling processes for Production Associates and Corporate/Business Associates.
- Partner with HR, hiring managers, and business leaders to support successful new hire integration.
Talent Acquisition Operations & Partnerships - Own talent acquisition systems, tools, processes, and vendor relationships.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements that increase recruiting effectiveness, candidate experience, and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, colleges, universities, trade schools, CareerLink offices, workforce development organizations, and other community talent partners.
- Develop and manage talent acquisition budgets and vendor investments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and recruiting practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist.
Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:
Education & Certifications • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
• Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or Talent Acquisition-related certifications preferred.
Experience • 7+ years of progressive experience in talent attraction, talent acquisition, recruiting, employer branding, workforce planning, or related areas.
• Experience leading full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Experience building talent pipelines, sourcing strategies, and talent mapping initiatives.
• Experience developing and executing employer branding, recruitment marketing, or candidate experience strategies.
• Experience managing applicant tracking systems, recruitment technologies, and external vendors.
• Experience leading onboarding, internship, early career, or university relations programs preferred.
• Prior people leadership experience preferred.
