Job Title: Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (Global Life Sciences)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to join our growing global recruitment team. In this role, you will lead full-lifecycle recruitment strategies for sites across the US and international markets (including Europe), partnering closely with HR business partners and challenging hiring managers to secure top-tier talent as we expand our global footprint.
This is a dynamic, high-impact talent acquisition role requiring a deep understanding of the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors. You will manage complex stakeholder relationships, drive multi-channel passive sourcing, guide talent acquisition coordinators, and lead global recruitment projects. Key Responsibilities
Full-Lifecycle Recruiting & Stakeholder Management
• End-to-End Delivery: Drive full-lifecycle recruitment processes, including role intake briefings with hiring managers, job postings, multi-channel sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiations, and ATS transactions.
• Hiring Manager Partnership: Challenge and guide hiring managers to define role requirements, set realistic market expectations, and maintain strict recruitment velocity.
• Global Collaboration: Partner seamlessly across international time zones and HR business partners to support regional and global talent initiatives.
Sourcing Strategy & Candidate Experience
• Active & Passive Sourcing: Source, engage, and screen diverse talent pools through robust multi-channel strategies, networking, university partnerships, and career conferences.
• Candidate Advocacy: Deliver a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience that effectively communicates our culture, values, and total rewards value proposition.
• Agency & Vendor Coordination: Build relationships with external agency partners and support vendor management for contract or contingent workforce needs.
Process Optimization & Compliance
• SME Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert for specific recruitment processes, vetting proposed workflow changes with stakeholders and aligning best practices across the team.
• Compliance & Guidance: Ensure strict adherence to global compliance commitments, equal opportunity hiring practices, and audit readiness.
• TA Coordination Support: Provide mentorship and operational guidance to talent acquisition coordinators to ensure flawless interview logistics and scheduling.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 5+ years of total professional recruitment experience, with a minimum of 3+ years dedicated specifically to Pharma, Biotech, or Life Sciences recruitment.
• Technical Mastery:
oProven experience managing international or multi-site req loads across the US and European markets.
oHands-on proficiency utilizing enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday) and Microsoft 365.
• Core Competencies: Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment; exceptional cross-cultural communication and stakeholder influence abilities; high learning agility and absolute discretion regarding confidential personnel data.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience building talent acquisition programs within emerging global markets or scaling startup footprints.
• Documented success leading cross-functional global talent projects, employer branding initiatives, or diversity sourcing campaigns.
