As part of our exciting growth, we are currently searching for a Senior Manager, Sparing & Logistics
The Senior Manager, Sparing & Logistics owns end-to-end operational logistics readiness, critical spare part governance, specialized tooling availability, emergency rental activations, and fuel supply assurance across the entire data center portfolio.
The mission of this role is to eliminate supply-chain vulnerabilities, unmitigated hardware shortages, and maintenance delays before they escalate into client uptime risk. Furthermore, the coordinator establishes auditable cost intelligence and readiness tracking that provides operational leadership with full visibility into spare health, vendor readiness, and emergency mobilization expenses

Critical Spares & Inventory Governance

- Inventory Record Integrity: Maintain real-time inventory records tracking part quantities, operational condition, calibration status, shelf-life expiration, and physical storage locations.
Escalation & Gap Closure Management
- Gap Tracker Ownership: Own and maintain the central Operational Gap Tracker, ensuring every identified inventory or equipment shortfall has an assigned owner, clear risk statement, interim mitigation plan, procurement path, and closure evidence.
- Strict Escalation Timelines: Enforce same-business-day escalation to Facility Managers and Regional Directors upon discovery of critical baseline breaches.
Tooling & Access Equipment Readiness
- Inspection & Accessibility: Ensure all specialized tools, duct lifts, motorized man-lifts, transfer pumps, heavy hoses, high-pressure fittings, gaskets, and specialty valves are inspected, charged, certified, and kept clear of storage and active construction so they are immediately accessible.
Vendor, Rental, Fuel & Logistics Assurance
- Emergency Vendor Readiness: Maintain verified rosters of pre-approved emergency vendors (mechanical, electrical, BMS controls, heavy equipment rental, bulk diesel fuel delivery) with monthly validation of 24/7 primary and escalation contacts.
- Logistics pre-Clearance: Pre-confirm blanket purchase orders, vendor badging credentials, security site access protocols, and dock delivery routes for rapid emergency mobilization.
Readiness Reviews & Cost Intelligence
- Cadence Reviews: Lead quarterly logistics and equipment readiness reviews and drive high-risk period operational preparations (severe weather supplies for on-site staff, bulk fuel top-offs, and hurricane/freeze kits).
- Cost Tracking: Build and manage cost tracking mechanisms for emergency freight, rental equipment surges, replacement inventory replenishment, and Sev 1/2 logistics premiums.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Logistics & Inventory Mastery: 3+ years of experience managing critical spares, warehouse operations, or supply chain logistics in mission-critical, data center, manufacturing, or industrial facility environments.
- Systems Proficiency: Expertise in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and inventory ERP software; working familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, monday.com workspace tracking.
