Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Retail Media Revenue & Yield Operations is responsible for establishing the revenue operations and yield management capabilities that enable data-driven commercial decisions, optimize inventory monetization, and support sustainable, profitable growth across the retail media business. This role provides leadership and cross-functional teams with visibility into business performance and actionable insights that support revenue growth, inventory optimization, market competitiveness, and profitability across onsite, offsite, in-store, and partner channels.

Partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Client Success, Ad Operations, Product, Analytics, and Technology, the Senior Manager translates revenue, pipeline, inventory, pricing, campaign delivery, and profitability data into insights and recommendations that inform business strategy and commercial decision-making. The role establishes the operating rhythms, reporting structures, KPIs, and governance processes needed to support annual planning, seller goal setting, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance measurement.

As the lead for yield and revenue operations, this individual enables effective inventory monetization by monitoring supply and demand dynamics, sell-through, delivery risk, pricing performance, and margin trends. Through data-driven analysis and recommendations, the role helps guide pricing strategies, rate cards, packaging, discounting, inventory allocation, and deal evaluation to ensure the business remains competitive in the market while optimizing revenue and profitability.

Additionally, the Senior Manager oversees key revenue operations processes, including commission administration, partner revenue tracking, billing governance, revenue reconciliation, Salesforce adoption, data quality, and reporting automation. The ideal candidate brings strong business and financial acumen, analytical rigor, operational leadership, and the ability to influence decisions across a complex, fast-growing retail media organization.

This role is a critical enabler of the retail media organization, ensuring leaders have the visibility, insights, tools, and operational frameworks needed to make informed decisions, maximize inventory yield, improve commercial effectiveness, and deliver profitable growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Leads the analysis of ROI and funnel data used to inform strategic investment decisions. Develops actionable operational goals from the Marketing strategy and executes on the plan, accordingly.
  • Aligns with marketing leads on calendars and activations. Partners with marketing leads on annual plans, targeting personalization, integrated channel strategy and data integration.
  • Recommends activation prioritization using data over data sources across the enterprise and external sources.
  • Pays critical attention to measurement and refinement of measurement tools.
  • Facilitates and leads the prioritization of initiatives and makes real-time decisions by evaluating and sizing impact to key growth and financial metrics
  • Prepares monthly reporting and quarterly materials related to aggregating reporting across channels to facilitate management discussion and analysis of key marketing and business performance indicators.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure ongoing performance measurement, Maintains project progress information for reports and presentations.
  • Responsible for aligning marketing technology with the marketing strategy and ensures collaboration with IT and other relevant functions in order to execute.
  • Directs the review and implementation of operational best practices; designs and supports key process workflows to ensure alignment within marketing and cross-functionally.
  • Guides allocation of available resources to meet operating objectives. Ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Manages budgets, operational plans and performance requirements for the team. Responsible for meeting budgetary goals and objectives.
  • Empowers the team by facilitating ongoing training and development opportunities and assists with new team member onboarding. Interacts with direct reports and peers to interpret information and improve processes and programs. Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.


External Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in Marketing and/or Marketing Operations OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Marketing Operations.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify opportunities, issues, trends, or exceptions.
  • Experience with marketing automation
  • Experience with Adobe marketing technology stack, including customer data platforms and data infrastructure
  • Experience with funnel analysis and campaign ROI analysis
  • Experience with unifying reporting and data visualization
  • Experience with performance management
  • Experience with budgeting/procurement management
  • Experience with workflow and process design
  • At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 2 years of experience of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree OR MBA
  • Experience creating marketing concepts in response to industry trends and business objectives within a clearly defined brand.
  • At least 4 years of experience in performance marketing and omnichannel engagement nurture, promotions, marketing, retail, analytics, pricing, consumer packaged goods, insights, vendor collaboration, consumer research, inventory, category management and/or business analysis.
  • Experience with healthcare or wellness consumer brands.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience identifying operational issues, making recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience developing and implementing multi-channel campaigns and communications plans.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.
  • Experience managing and leading high performing teams through change and transformation.
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, including the executive level.
  • Experience with Marketo and Adobe Experience Manager is highly desired.
  • Experience in healthcare, providers/payers, B2B, technology SaaS companies and/or digital health, in-house or at agencies.
