About the role

We're currently looking for two Senior Managers for Private Enterprise team - one based in our Vancouver office and one in our Tri-Cities office.

The Senior Manager of Private Sector is responsible for leading work for our private sector clients by leading a variety of accounting, auditing and tax engagements including, but not limited to, planning, preparing, managing, reviewing and executing client work. The Senior Manager is also responsible for ensuring exceptional client delivery of service to clients within their portfolio. Considered the main point of contact for the engagement, the Senior Manager of Private Sector is a liaison between staff, the clients and Partners. In addition to communicating directly with existing clients and resolving any issues that may arise, the Senior Manager of Private Sector is also responsible for acquiring new clientele.

How you'll make a difference

  • Plan, manage, and execute compilation, review, and audit engagements
  • Prepare financial statements with appropriate note disclosure in accordance with ASPE engagements
  • Review and finalize corporate and personal income tax returns, and related financial statements
  • Identify and research potential resolutions for technical issues that arise during the engagement
  • Monitor progress of work being completed on files and communicate with team and partners
  • Identify and analyze client needs and provide exceptional service and advice to our clients
  • Assist with client management and foster excellent relationships with clients
  • Train, develop and supervise staff


Who you are

  • CPA-designated with 5+ years of public practice experience, primarily supporting private-enterprise clients
  • 2+ years of management public practice experience
  • Strong technical skills in compilations, review engagements, corporate and personal tax, and year-end planning
  • PE Assurance experience would be an asset, but not necessary
  • Experienced in file planning, managing engagements, reviewing work, coaching staff, and communicating with clients
  • Someone who values feedback, mentorship, and supporting others' growth - and who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment
