Your Role:
This is a highimpact leadership role at the center of Baxters most complex and strategically important government pricing and compliance initiatives. Because Baxter operates across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and equipment, the government pricing environment is uniquely intricate from unbundling requirements to multiagency reporting across CMS, HRSA, VA, DoD, and numerous state programs.
As the Senior Manager, youll bring clarity and structure to that complexity. Youll lead pricing methodology, manage external partners responsible for pricing calculations, guide regulatory interpretation, and advise Commercial, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and senior leadership on the downstream impact of pricing and contracting decisions. Youll also own the finance partnership, working closely with revenue accounting to manage reserves, monitor longstanding accruals, and prepare the organization for emerging legislative and IRArelated changes.

This is a remote position based in the United States.
What Youll Be Doing:
Serve as Baxters enterprise subject matter expert on government pricing regulations, methodology, and policy interpretation
Lead endtoend ownership of AMP, BP, ASP, 340B, and NonFAMP submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
Advise Commercial, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Market Access on downstream impacts of pricing strategies, contract structures, and legislative developments
Oversee outsourced calculation partners, data inputs, and system outputs, including governance of Model N and other managed service providers
Partner closely with Finance and Revenue Accounting to manage reserves, monitor longstanding accruals, and ensure alignment on financial exposure
Lead reconciliation, validation, and auditreadiness frameworks across all government pricing programs and state transparency requirements
Provide support and coordination for the Medicaid rebate process, manage vendor performance, and cash recovery efforts while maintaining strong relationships with CMS, HRSA, VA, DoD, and state agencies
Drive process standardization, unbundling initiatives, system modernization, and special projects that shape the future of Baxters government pricing function
What Youll Bring:
8 30 years of experience in Government Price Reporting preferred (open to strong candidates with 6+ years and demonstrated mastery)
Deep expertise in U.S. government pricing programs, including Medicaid (AMP/BP), Medicare Part B (ASP), 340B, NonFAMP, VA/FSS, and state transparency reporting
Proven ability to interpret complex regulations, guide policy decisions, and translate methodology into business risk and opportunity
Experience partnering with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Legal, IT, and Marketing to influence strategy and drive alignment
Strong analytical and modeling skills, including scenario analysis related to price changes, legislative developments, and IRA exposure
Demonstrated success building sustainable controls, audit frameworks, and scalable processes in highly regulated environments
Leadership experience managing teams, developing talent, and overseeing vendors or managed service providers
Systems acumen, ideally with Model N or similar pricing/contracting platforms, and comfort navigating complex data environments

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 -$187,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
