Please review the job details below.Lanteris Space LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, is seeking a GNC Senior Manager to lead our 300 Product Line in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will oversee the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of GNC algorithms and orbital analysis for the 300 product line while managing a team of engineers.
Responsibilities:Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of GNC engineers across multiple experience levels
- Define technical strategy and roadmap for GNC 300 product line
- Manage resource allocation, hiring, and performance evaluations
- Interface with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Drive innovation in GNC technology and methodologies
Technical Oversight:
- Oversee spacecraft attitude control system performance analysis
- Guide simulation and modeling of GNC algorithms
- Review telemetry data analysis from on-orbit spacecraft
- Ensure quality of GNC flight software components
- Oversee hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing activities
Strategic Planning:
- Participate in proposal development and business planning
- Establish and maintain technical standards and best practices
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Present technical strategies to executive leadership
Minimum Requirements:- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace (Space), Astronautics, Mechanical (Dynamics), Electrical (Controls), Physics (Astrodynamics, Orbits), Applied Math or related field
- 12 years of related industry experience in space GNC systems
- 5 years of people management experience
- Proven track record of leading successful spacecraft GNC programs
Technical Skills:- Expert knowledge of GNC algorithms and spacecraft dynamics
- Proficiency with C/C++/MATLAB/Simulink/Python/Julia
- Experience with Git/Gitlab-Github, Linux/Windows, AWS Pipelines

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within California is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
