Lead and drive the supply chain business performance, key supplier relationships, supply chain resiliency (risk), and supply chain optimization across the division while serving as the focal point for supporting and implementing SCM enterprise initaitives and regulatory requirements

• Develop and lead the division’s global supply chain strategy in support of the overall division level business plan and objectives
• Oversee the Supply Chain NBS Next initiatives and projects working with the businesses
• Manage key supplier relationships and performance
• Work with the businesses on key supplier improvement initiatives to drive overall supply chain performance improvement utilizing the supplier metrics/scorecards in Supply Chain Central (SCC)
• Lead and work with the businesses on the development, oversight, and achievement of the annual material cost productivity targets and cost reduction funnel targets
• Work with the Central Supply organization to obtain market intelligence for material cost drivers and indices and provide forward guidance to the businesses
• Lead the capital leveraging process and strategy across the division
• Serve as the focal point for cross-division key category strategies, supplier relationships, and contracts
• Drive the division supplier consolidation process (NBS C/D suppliers)
• Support and manage the Supplier Compliance Polling process (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, CTPAT, …)
• Lead the management of the accuracy and maintenance of the Nordson Supply Chain portal/database, commodity coding, and HTS coding
• Lead the Supplier Risk Assessment process for the division
• With with Central Supply on implementation of supply chain best practices
• Lead the supply chain talent management within the division
• Other duties as assigned

Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.  The successful candidate will have a proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. 

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree, Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years experience in Supply Chain operations with a global industrial manufacturer including taking on roles of progressively more responsibility

• Knowledge of commodity cost drivers and category strategy development
• Ability to identify, develop and implement best practices based on lean supply chain principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, influencing, and project management skills.
• Team leadership and talent development
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence behaviors.
• Proven ability to establish credibility and be decisive, ability to recognize and support organization priorities, mission and code of ethics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level

• Detail-oriented self starter
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Powerpoint, etc..
