As
Senior Manager of FP&A, you'll own financial partnership across R&D, G&A, and Cost of Sales - working directly with the CTO, CPO, CFO, and other functional leaders as their primary finance counterpart. You'll translate complex operational activity into clear financial narratives, build the models that drive decisions, and show up as the finance partner your business partners actually want to call. This role is for someone who is equally comfortable building a bottoms-up headcount model one day and challenging a business leader's assumptions the next.
WHAT YOU'LL DOFP&A Business Partnership - R&D, Product, Engineering, Zoominfo Talent Solutions (ZTS), and G&A- Serve as the dedicated finance partner to R&D, Product, Engineering, ZTS, and G&A leadership; owning the full forecast cycle, including AOP/Monthly/Quarterly planning, as well as bottoms-up budget builds, headcount planning, ELT-ready scenario modeling, and investment analysis
- Build and maintain dynamic models covering headcount, OpEx, and unit economics across all assigned functions.
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with sharp variance analysis and a clear point of view; not just a slide of numbers.
- Proactively surface risks, opportunities, and the financial implications of strategic choices before they become surprises.
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Sales Finance, and other business units to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes.
Corporate FP&A Support- Contribute to core FP&A processes including monthly flux and variance analysis, Board narrative support, and ELT forecast reporting.
- Support the Director of FP&A in maintaining and improving corporate financial systems, rollforwards, and planning infrastructure.
- Build systems and processes - including agentic workflows and AI-assisted tools - to automate recurring workstreams: variance reporting, commentary, and scenario planning.
WHAT YOU BRING- Technical. Strong financial modeling skills. You build models others can use, stress-test them, and know when simplicity beats sophistication. Excel mastery is non-negotiable; experience with BI tools, data automation, or coding is a meaningful differentiator.
- Business fluency. You understand SaaS and consumption-based economics and can connect R&D investment decisions to product and revenue outcomes.
- Executive presence. You are comfortable and crisp presenting to senior functional leaders. You can distill a complex financial story into simple concepts and hold your ground with data.
- High EQ. Business partners describe you as someone who makes them better. You ask the questions they didn't think to ask, follow through, and never make people feel managed.
- AI fluency. You're genuinely curious about how AI is changing finance work - and you've already started using it.
QUALIFICATIONS- 6+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, with meaningful time supporting R&D, Engineering, or G&A functions.
- Background in high-growth SaaS or technology; experience with consumption or usage-based model transitions is a strong differentiator.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with technical leaders (CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent).
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA a plus, not a requirement.
