Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Description:

Position Summary

This position will work cross functionally across the organization providing support for budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range financial models, as well as oversee the monthly variance analysis process and contribute to special projects.

Essential Functions (ES) and Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership and support for budgeting process and the monthly forecasting process, coordinating closely with executive leadership and department heads
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure cross functional alignment of financial and corporate goals, including internal department heads
  • Develop, optimize, and standardize FP&A processes through the adoption of best practices and drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, data integrity, and system utilization
  • Contribute to preparation of financial components of board packages and presentations
  • Build and maintain dynamic models to evaluate the end-to-end financial impacts of cost changes, supplier decisions, and process improvements (e.g. Inventory Model)
  • Maintain and improve the three-statement financial model on a monthly basis
  • Analyze financial, operational and commercial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team and with other departments to perform ad-hoc projects on an as-needed basis
  • Evaluate and implement tools to improve financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Identify and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve financial and operational processes as the business scales

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters a plus

Experience Requirements: Requires 8-15 years of professional related work experience. Strong FP&A, financial modeling, forecasting, and board reporting experience. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Industry experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills. SAP experience preferred. Must be financial/detail oriented, possess excellent analytical abilities and be customer oriented. Must possess excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience

License(s): CPA a plus

The minimum compliance expectation for this role entails strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing sales and marketing activities. This includes completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of sales interactions, and adherence to data privacy regulations. Additionally, the role requires proactive participation in compliance reviews, prompt reporting of any potential issues, and ongoing education to stay updated on relevant FDA regulations.
