Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to join BGRE in New York, NY. The Senior Manager will lead our Regional FP&A team for the North America Office portfolio, reporting to the Vice President, Finance. This role will help drive financial planning and analysis across budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and investment performance, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and presenting insights to senior leadership and investors. To succeed in this role, the candidate should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in driving process improvements and decision-making.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a regional FP&A team of 1-3 employees in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and oversee large components the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning, as well as discounted cash flows and valuation projections, reviewing and guiding the work of more junior team members
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of comprehensive dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis
  • Oversee and review the monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasting
  • Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly leasing forecast, which includes updates of actual leasing activity, forecasted leasing assumptions, and early tenant expirations
  • Partner with department heads and business units to align financial goals with operational objectives and provide them with necessary information for business functions
  • Prepare and review financial presentations and reporting packages for upper management and investors, at various ownership levels
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Work closely with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate with asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and investor relations
  • Lead and provide guidance on ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for management as needed
  • Support the analysis of investment performance and returns across designated assets
  • Manage the cash flow and equity allocations across designated investment portfolios
  • Communicate financial insights to support the advancement of strategic business objectives across a diversified portfolio of investments at varying stages of development


Team Leadership
  • Provide input on current and future staffing needs to Vice President, Finance to support operational demands
  • Actively coach and develop direct reports, providing real-time feedback and structured growth plans that empower the team to deliver high-impact financial narratives
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture through regular feedback, coaching, and performance management practices


Your Qualifications:

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $165,000
